Bob Popovics folded a piece of foam in half and created a fly that has ruined more mornings of sleep than any alarm clock on the Eastern Seaboard. The Crease Fly sits in the surface film and pushes a V-wake that broadcasts 'wounded baitfish' to every striper within fifty yards. Strip it at dawn across a flat and listen for the explosion. The take is violent, visual, and addictive in a way that probably requires professional help. Popovics has much to answer for.
