Information We Collect

The current public site does not run checkout or subscription billing. If you request an availability notice or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide, your consent record, the page and catalog context for the request, and any optional message details you send.

If purchasing opens in the future, order forms may collect the information needed to fulfill an order, such as name, email address, and shipping address.

Payment Processing

Checkout is not active on the public site yet. When payment processing is enabled, we expect to use Stripeso payment details go directly to Stripe's PCI-compliant servers. Cookies & Local Storage

We use localStorage in your browser to persist site preferences and Flybox selection state. Supabase authentication sets secure cookies when an authorized administrator signs in to the private Field Office.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insightsto understand how our site performs and how visitors use it. Their collection and retention practices are governed by Vercel's services and privacy terms.

Referral Measurement

When you use a verified product link, we may record the fly, vendor, source page, browser user-agent, timestamp, and a rotating one-way visitor hash. We use this to measure whether the catalog sends useful traffic to independent vendors. We do not store the raw IP address in the referral event.

Interactive Map

Our fishing region map is powered by Mapbox. When you interact with the map, Mapbox may collect usage data under their own privacy policy. Map tiles are loaded from Mapbox servers.

Email Communications

We send request follow-up and occasional Flybox updates only after you affirm the email permission shown on the form. The consent text version and time are stored with the request. You can withdraw permission or request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Data Retention

We retain contact, notice-request, order, and account data only as long as needed to provide our services, operate the site, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA to know what data we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
