The Circus Peanut is the logical conclusion of the streamer arms race -- two articulation points, enough materials to stuff a small pillow, and a profile that makes smaller streamers look like appetizers. Kelly Galloup designed it for the trout that have seen everything, and its exaggerated swimming action triggers strikes from fish that stopped eating conventional streamers years ago. Casting it requires a seven or eight-weight rod and the understanding that you are no longer 'trout fishing' in any traditional sense. You are hunting. The difference is not semantic.
