In the backcountry of the Florida Keys, white baitfish outnumber opinions about politics. Pilchards, glass minnows, silversides -- they are all small, silver, and swimming in schools that darken the water. This fly does not try to be clever about it. White bucktail, a touch of flash, synthetic fibers, done. Sometimes the most effective strategy is to look exactly like everything else and hope a snook picks you.
