The Bayou Bugger is the result -- a beefed-up, slightly unhinged version of the world's most versatile fly, adapted for the warm, tannic waters where freshwater meets salt. It imitates a leech, a baitfish, a crawfish, or nothing at all. The fish eating it have never lodged a formal complaint about the ambiguity.
