Enrico Puglisi looked at traditional tarpon flies and decided they could be improved by replacing natural materials with synthetic fibers that dry in one false cast and create a translucent profile visible from across the flat. He was right. This pattern cuts through wind like a knife through warm butter, lands softly despite its size, and swims with the sinuous movement of a mullet that has accepted its fate.
